1981 to March 19, 1991
The first three or four months after being stricken with a disease like paralysis were very trying. But the grace of Allah and the prayers of his loved ones forced him to return to life. Paralysis attacked his left side. Due to which his left hand and left leg were paralyzed, this was his strength. It was God’s will and grace that he started walking slowly, but his arm could not reach the full length of his arm. When he was able to walk, he began to miss the studios. The doctors had advised him to rest as much as possible. Even the family members did not want him to go to the studios in this condition and worried about the situation, he announced that my work is my life, I cannot live apart from it. After about six months of sick leave, He started going to the studio, after which he continued to work till the end of his life. He was awarded the Nigar LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT Award in 1990, a few months before his death.

Mr. Hazeen Qadri was a double-edged sword of Pakistan film industry, he was also a storyteller and a songwriter. Many of his co-stars also tried, but after a few films, he went back to his comfort zone.
After turning away from story, he turned his attention to songwriting and wrote songs for about seventy (70) films over the years, numbering around two hundred. Currently, this essay of mine is based on his songwriting prowess. After its completion, Inshallah, I will write a separate article on the art of writing those stories.
From 1950 to 1980, I have made the topic of contemporary song writers of Hazin Qadri Sahib, now I will mention the musicians who put his words in the garland of songs and the artists whose voice dictated his letters.
Hazin Qadri Sahib worked with about 33 thirty-five musicians in his professional life, this number is not final, the reason for this is that many films are such that the cinema screen is not lucky due to countless reasons. Films do not get made and remain locked in boxes, and the essence of many artists associated with them also remain anonymous. Only elders can tell whether the above is fact or fiction.

The Story Behind Hazeen Qadri Success 9 April 1926 Date Of Birth. He passed away on March 19.1991.

Lahore’s film industry began with the first film(Khamoosh), made in 1925, with the full-length film Daughter of the Day. M. Ismail and Vijay Kumar. He became known as M. Ismail Sahib (Bah Ismail) and continued to appear in Pakistani films in the role of a character actor for about 70 years. After the silence came the era of complete films, so Abdul Rashid Kar Dane Her Ranjha and Gopi Chand made. The hype spread to Calcutta and Bombay, where M. Ismail’s (Caro) Kirker won the hearts of the people with his excellent characterization Rafiq Ghaznavi proved his mettle as a musician. In the early days of Lahore film industry, Imtiaz Ali Taj and Rafiq Pirzada also showed the essence of their acting in films. When other people like Abdul Rashid Kardar and Bah Ismail left Lahore and started filming in Calcutta and Bombay and Punjabi films started coming from Calcutta, they also included films like Pind Si Kurri, Posti and Heer Sial.

A few years before the partition of India, a few Hindu filmmakers again set up a program in Lahore to settle the ujri Nagri. Among them were Shura, DM Pancholi, Dewan Sardari Lal and others. Dewan Sardari founded a new studio at Upper Mall called Super Studio. Later it became known as Pancholi Studio.

The studio’s offer (Gul Bakauli) did great business all over India, the first time the star rose on the subcontinent’s horizon in the same film the dazzle of which has not diminished till today. Madam Noorjahan who was introduced on the screen under the name of Baby Noorjahan at that time and whose voice had made the insignificant mistake of great musicians, teachers and Khans.

One day, become the owner of the same studio that came into existence long ago under the name of Super Sound Studio, from Pancholi Studio to Shah Noor Studio. Sukh Pancholi is credited with rebuilding Lahore’s ruined film city, whose

administrative and business conditions brought Lahore to the brink of Bombay and Calcutta Very good films started to be made here too, which attracted other business people of Lahore as well.

Among them New and Northern India Studios are prominent. The birds of abandoned nests returned to Lahore. Cameraman Badri Prasad Barkat Mahira, Noor Jahan, M. Ismail, Master Ghulam Haider, Moti Ajmal (New Discovery) Pran and some non-Lahore actors also visited Calcutta. Came to Lahore from Among them were Ramula and Moti Gadwani, the director of Bombay۔

Two Lahore films made in those days did record business, and the family and Chaudhry caused a stir all over India.

The credit for the family’s and Chaudhry’s success goes to three artists, Shaukat Hassan Rizvi, a young Calcutta film editor who was the mentor of a trained Hollywood editor Chaudhry (Punjabi) was also almost in charge of directing, but someone else’s name was on the title.

Apart from Shaukat Rizvi, Noor Jahan, Master Ghulam Haider, the film based on the story of Imtiaz Ali Taj broke all previous records and made Lahore the center of the film industry in India.

This was the time when Hazeen Qadri stepped into the film industry, after a tour of the producers’ offices and his two years of hard work, he got a chance to write a song in a Hindu producer’s film called “Do Anso”.

And there were lyrics.

آنکھ کے آنسو پاؤں کے چھالے

       واپس لےلے دنیے والے

The film was just being completed when the riots started, the Indian producer also made his bed and went to India, his incomplete film was seen in the fire of riots. Lahore’s film city was once again devastated.
