He came to Lahore and was given a chance to write songs at Radio Pakistan. The legendary Pakistani film director Anwar Kamal Pasha was impressed by Hazeen Qadri’s talent as a Punjabi lyricist and gave him a chance to write songs for the Pakistani movie Aansoo in 1950.
